Travel Fulfilment Specialist

This is a unique opportunity for an Operations or Fulfillment specialist to leverage their broad industry knowledge and experience to support our Product Operations team. As a rapidly growing business, the position is fast paced & hands on, covering vast aspects of a Product Operations role including the internal customer support as well as booking reconciliation & fulfillment of travel reservations.

• Quality-check bookings and traveller documentation to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment
  
• Provide Air Ticketing and Land Product Voucher fulfilment support
  
• Fulfil additional passenger service requests
  
• Monitor and process customer payments to relevant travel files
  
• Provide product support to the sales team as required
  
• Manage airline schedule changes to keep bookings up to date and accurate
  
• Review and manage service reports, supplier queries, and requests
  
• Maintain and update hotel room availability information
  
• Handle general booking-related queries from internal stakeholders
  

• Minimum 2 years experience in the Travel Industry in a Travel Operations Support position or Bookings Fulfilment is essential
  
• Experience using a GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo) is essential
  
• Prior experience as a Travel Consultant is advantageous
  
• Fare calculation, basic ticketing knowledge and queue management is important
  
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  

• Has worked in the travel industry and understands the back-end booking process
  
• Well organised and methodical in their approach to the task at hand
  
• Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision
  
• Able to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion
  
• Demonstrates critical thinking, sound judgement and discretion in decision-making and problem-solving situations
  
• Technologically savvy and resourceful
  
• Results-oriented and solution-focused with a problem-solving attitude
  
• Able to exercise strong attention to detail and demonstrate solid financial acumen
  
• An effective communicator in speaking and writin
