Job DescriptionSecure excellence in logistical operational performance, and its further development, in close cooperation and alignment with all relevant supply chain stakeholders; contributing to reaching customer perceived availability at the lowest total cost (considering impacts of quality, safety, service performance, sustainability and other supply chain cost)
• Logistical (“flow”) performance for parcel; Secure total logistical operational performance from end-to end perspective. Monitor & Follow-up the shipments to secure availability for our buyers.
• Outbound Consignment Management; Responsible to execute all consignments from our warehouses (outbound), plan and execute consignment in order to secure availability which meet our buyers’ needs.
• Extra Ordinary Freights (EOF); Responsible to retrieve optimal solution, price and execute shipment for extra ordinary freights according to global working method.
• Daily operations; Reschedule and/or cancel parcel shipments and outbound consignments in case of logistical operational deviations. Suggest improvement potentials for parameters and set-ups affecting delivery planning and execution.
• Deviation handling; Work in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. carriers, SCO, suppliers) to solve operational deviations. Follow up operational deviations and search for solutions to avoid operational deviation in the future. • Relationship Management; Work in close cooperation with our internal and external IKEA stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, SCO, transport service providers, and retailers) in respect of daily operations. Be active on the phone with our partners and secure clarification in written (written protocol). Building and maintaining strong relationships with our business partners.
• Communication; Secure proactive communication with internal IKEA supply chain stakeholders and external service providers, in particular in case of delayed and/or changed parcel deliveries.
• Customer Service: Secure a strong communication flow with our stakeholders and provide clear and professional guidance in topics and questions related to the daily end-to-end goods flow within the Transport Planners area of responsibility.
• Equipment Utilization; Secure optimal EQU in creation of outbound consignments.
• Process Development Collaboration; Contribute to development of the delivery operations process, systems, working methods and other steering documents. Collaboration with process developers to create better ways of working.
