Job Purpose
DP World is currently seeking a Transport Coordinator to join our Global Freight team based in Yennora, NSW. In this role, you will coordinate end-to-end transport operations for key clients across domestic and international freight movements, including bookings, shipment processing, invoicing, reporting and customer communication. Working closely with internal operations teams and transport providers, you will support efficient freight coordination, maintain accurate system information and deliver a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate domestic and international freight movements, including bookings, shipment processing and transport documentation
Manage customer communication, invoicing, reporting and operational updates
Liaise with transport providers, clients and internal teams to ensure smooth operational coordination
Maintain accurate information across internal systems and digital platforms
Monitor shipment progress, resolve operational issues and ensure compliance with company procedures
Support KPI performance, cost control and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Previous experience within transport operations and freight forwarding
Strong understanding of the Australian supply chain and container logistics environment
Experience coordinating import and export freight movements and customer requirements
Excellent communication, customer service and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience with CargoWise (WiseTech), transport systems, or industry-related qualifications will be highly regarded
