About this Opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled Transmission & IP Network Lead to join our team at Ericsson, supporting large-scale RAN and Transmission projects. This role is critical in ensuring seamless delivery, integration, and optimization of transmission and IP networks across multi-vendor environments.
You will act as a technical leader and subject matter expert, working closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders to drive high-quality network deployment and operations. The role requires a balance of strong technical expertise and coordination capabilities to ensure efficient execution of projects within defined timelines, scope, and quality standards.
What You Will Do• Lead end-to-end Transmission and IP network operations, including planning, implementation, and optimization.• Ensure delivery and performance of microwave, fiber, WDM, MPLS-TP, and SDH/PDH networks.• Manage network KPIs, SLAs, and performance targets, ensuring high availability and reliability.• Oversee implementation and integration activities, coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.• Drive network rollout, swap, migration, and acceptance processes (PAT/FAT).• Perform network performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization to improve stability and efficiency.• Support capacity planning, traffic management, and congestion resolution strategies.• Lead back-office (BO) and NOC activities, including escalation handling and issue resolution.• Ensure compliance with EHS, security, and quality standards across all activities.• Prepare and present technical reports, audits, and performance reviews to customers and management.• Collaborate with design, integration, and project teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of network projects.
The Skills you bring:• 10+ years of experience in Transmission and IP networks within telecom environments.• Strong hands-on expertise in microwave technologies (Huawei RTN, Nokia Wavence, Ericsson Mini-Link) and IP transport networks.• Experience with multi-vendor environments (Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia).• Proficiency in NMS tools such as Ericsson ENM, Huawei U2000/iMaster NCE, and Nokia NSP.• Solid understanding of network KPIs, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.• Proven experience in implementation coordination and stakeholder management.• Strong knowledge of network rollout, integration, and acceptance processes.• Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.• Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field (relevant certifications are a plus).
