About the Job

We are looking for an experienced and proactive PMO / Transition Specialist to join our growing Financial Services team in Kraków. This is a newly created position and offers a unique opportunity to lead a transition project from the ground up. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end transition of financial and accounting processes from various European countries to our Kraków office. This role will report directly to the Head of Financial Services for EMEA.

As the Transition Specialist, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and overseeing the migration process. You will also contribute to the development of procedures, process documentation, and ensure a smooth handover and stabilization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end transition projects for finance and accounting processes
  • Develop transition plans, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Initiate and drive the setup of the transition framework for a new project
  • Liaise with stakeholders across Europe, Middle East & Africa and Kraków (Poland) to ensure alignment and smooth communication
  • Prepare detailed documentation, including process maps, SOPs, and transition reports
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation actions
  • Support knowledge transfer activities and ensure a smooth process handover
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Head of Financial Services, Director Accounting Services,  Regional CFO and other stakeholders
  • Act as the point of contact for transition-related topics
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and best practices throughout the transition

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing transition or migration projects, preferably in finance & accounting min 5 years
  • Strong understanding of shared service center operations and financial processes (AP, AR, GL, etc.)
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the project
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); other European languages are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of process mapping tools
  • Experience in a multinational or SSC/BPO environment preferred
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus
