Responsibilities:

Scope of the Role 

Under the direct supervision, the Business Solutions Training Specialist will report to the VP of Business Solutions and have moderate reporting to the Associate VP of Solutions Training.  

This role pulls, reviews, verifies, and uses independent judgment to provide insights on Solutions Production and New Groups Opened reports to the VP of Solutions. This position contributes significantly to the accomplishment of Training objectives and requires a high level of confidentiality and discretion, the ability to manage relationships both internally across the company and externally, excellent time and project management skills, and a high attention to detail and accuracy. 

 

Performance Outcomes 

Support Training Leadership  

  • Handle daily tasks as directed by the VP of Business Solutions. 

  • Facilitate communications with Regional Trainers and Field Trainers. 

  • Keep track of multiple objectives and projects. 

  • Provide daily reports. 

  • Track monthly activities of Regional Trainers. 

  • Monitor performance of Field Trainers and provide insights thereon. 

 

Support Ongoing Training Events 

  • Create, prepare and process certification class rosters which includes giving qualifications to completed attendees. 

  • Process trainer payments from appropriate funds. 

  • Set up web-based Training events. 

  • Help arrange venues and audio/visual needs for in-person training events and manage the execution of contracts for these services. 

  • Manage communication and promotion of Training events through multiple mediums including text, voice, email and social media, and updating field-facing calendars.  

 

Contribute to the Accomplishment of Training Objectives 

  • Track Training expenses within a provided budget. 

  • Coordinate with other Business Solutions Training Specialists to assure responsibilities are fully covered. 

  • Communicate frequently at all levels within the company. 

  • Assist with social media presence for Solutions Training events. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Education, Knowledge, and Experience 

Passion for customer service 

Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills 

Detailed-oriented and organized 

Problem-solving and analytical 

Ability to handle multiple deadlines 

Positive professional attitude and team player 

Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Zoom 

Ability to effectively interact with associates, peers, managers, and external vendors  

Self-starter with high level of initiative 

Strong commitment to department and company goals 

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in related field required 

High School degree equivalent or higher required 

 

FLSA Status 

Non- exempt 

 

Physical Requirements/ Work Environment  

  • While performing the duties of the job, this position operates in a professional office environment.  

  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.  

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.  

  • The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear.  

  • Travel is not required for this position.
