The Opportunity: Senior Training Solution Architect
As the Pillar Lead for training development within the JTMS program, the Senior Training Solution Architect plays a central role in shaping and delivering comprehensive training solutions that align with program objectives and stakeholder needs. This role reports to the CACI JTMS Training Lead and is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of training programs that support JTMS’ mission-critical functions. The architect ensures that training content is technically accurate and aligned with both current and future operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include architecting training solutions that define learning objectives and outcomes and collaborating with subject matter experts and technical teams to create scalable, accessible, and engaging learning experiences as well as managing the team of instructional designers. The Senior Training Solution Architect also oversees the lifecycle of training materials, from concept and curriculum design to deployment, evaluation, and continuous improvement. This involves managing training delivery models (in-person, virtual, blended), ensuring compliance with security and quality standards, and providing technical guidance to trainers and learners. In addition, the role requires strategic planning to anticipate training needs, identify gaps, and align training initiatives with organizational goals.
Minimum 10% travel is required.
Qualifications:
Security Clearance

Learning & Development Leadership
- 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating training programs at scale, preferably within government or multi-site environments.
Instructional Design
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE and SAM.
- Proven ability to develop engaging, learner-centered content and accurately scope, estimate, and plan training development efforts.
Agile Methodology
- Experience working within Agile frameworks and applying Agile principles to learning and development initiatives.
Technology & Learning Systems
- Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools, including SAP WalkMe and Adobe Captivate.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly within transportation and warehouse operations.
Data-Driven Training
- Ability to measure training effectiveness through KPIs, learner feedback, surveys, performance metrics, and other data-driven insights.
- Proven ability to use data to identify opportunities and continuously improve training programs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Demonstrated success partnering with internal and external teams, department leaders, and subject matter experts to align training initiatives with organizational and business objectives.
Project Management
- Proven ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously, prioritize competing requirements, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality deliverables.
Communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively tailor messaging and presentation style to diverse audiences.
Coaching & Mentoring
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop talent, provide constructive feedback, and promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
