Job Description SummaryThe Training Operations Program Leader is responsible for driving operational excellence across the US & Canada Service Training Enablement organization. This role serves as a critical link between field service leadership, training delivery teams, and global program stakeholders to ensure employees receive the right technical training at the right time.
The position leads operational programs supporting workforce readiness, training demand planning, capacity management, escalation resolution, learner support, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role partners closely with field service leaders, Training Enablement Specialists, Global Service Program Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve employee readiness, customer outcomes, and business performance.
Success in this role requires strong operational leadership, analytical rigor, stakeholder influence, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer and employee experiences. As an integral member of the Training Operations team, this individual is expected to demonstrate a safety-first mindset while supporting compliant execution in accordance with applicable Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and procedures. The role also promotes a culture of inclusion, collaboration, continuous improvement, and people development throughout the organization.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Lead operational programs supporting technical training delivery and workforce readiness across the US & Canada Service organization.

  • Translate training demand, business priorities, workforce readiness requirements, and resource constraints into actionable operational plans that support field readiness and business objectives.

  • Drive training demand planning, capacity forecasting, resource optimization, and backlog management activities to improve training accessibility, compliance, and utilization.

  • Serve as the primary operational leader for training demand, capacity, and escalations, partnering with field service leaders and global stakeholders to resolve critical readiness needs and optimize training outcomes.

  • Partner with field service leadership, Area Service Leaders, Market Service Directors, Training Enablement Specialists, and Global Program Managers to understand readiness requirements and continuously improve training effectiveness.

  • Analyze operational metrics, forecasts, dashboards, and business trends to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actions that support strategic decision-making.

  • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives that improve training operations, learner experience, operational performance, and business outcomes.

  • Drive continuous improvement efforts using Lean principles and structured problem-solving methodologies to simplify processes, eliminate waste, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Influence decisions across multiple organizational levels by communicating operational insights, recommendations, risks, and improvement opportunities to business and functional leaders.

  • Ensure compliant execution of training operations by maintaining applicable processes, documentation, controls, and records in accordance with Quality Management System and EHS requirements.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the Training Enablement organization and provide leadership, guidance, and support to stakeholders across the training ecosystem.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical training operations, workforce enablement, training compliance, workforce readiness programs, or service training operations. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or high school diploma/GED, required.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

  • Experience using operational metrics, dashboards, forecasting tools, analytics, or business intelligence platforms to support decision-making and drive measurable outcomes.

  • Demonstrated program or project management experience, including planning, prioritization, execution, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation.

  • Experience supporting customer-facing operations, workforce readiness programs, technical training compliance programs, training operations, or service organizations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with employees, leaders, and cross-functional partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, influence without direct authority, and drive results in a matrixed organization.

Desired Characteristics
  • Experience supporting technical training, workforce enablement, learning operations, service training, or training operations organizations.

  • Knowledge of GE HealthCare Service Training operations, Training Enablement processes, technical training pathways, training governance processes, or related operational workflows.

  • Experience partnering with field service organizations, Area Service Leaders, Market Service Directors, technical support teams, or customer operations organizations.

  • Experience with training demand planning, capacity planning, enrollment management, workforce readiness programs, competency management, or operational forecasting.

  • Experience using Power BI, learning management systems, training analytics tools, or related business intelligence platforms.

  • Experience leading Lean, Kaizen, continuous improvement, or process optimization initiatives.

  • Experience working in healthcare, medical technology, industrial services, technical services, or other highly regulated operational environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive change management, process standardization, and operational transformation initiatives.

  • Experience supporting Quality Management System (QMS) processes or regulated business environments.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $108,000.00-$162,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
