- Experience in training coordination, administration or competency management, preferably within the mining industry
- Strong understanding of Queensland mining training, competency and compliance requirements
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management
- Confident coordinating training, inductions, assessments and refresher requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work with leaders, supervisors, trainers and contractors
- Experience maintaining training systems, competency records, matrices and compliance reporting
- Ability to identify training gaps and support practical workforce development solutions
- Proactive approach to safety, compliance and continuous improvement
- Strong computer skills and confidence working with training management systems and databases
- A commitment to building workforce capability and supporting a safe, skilled and compliant workplace
