Owns statutory and legislative ventilation requirements for an underground coal mine. Responsibilities include maintaining and modeling the ventilation network, managing network changes, preparing ventilation budgets, overseeing contractor activities, operating tube bundle gas monitoring, developing sealing management plans, and supporting safety and health management system documentation.

Supports health, safety, and training systems across operational departments. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation and records, coordinating injury management, monitoring safety actions and compliance, participating in investigations and risk assessments, and preparing reports and communications. This is a newly created, full-time, on-site role at the New Burton site working a 5/2/4/3 roster.

Processes end-to-end accounts payable invoices, payment runs, vendor reconciliations, supplier queries, and vendor master data. Ensures compliance with company policies, delegated authorities, and GST requirements while supporting month-end close, accruals, and reporting. Collaborates with operational, procurement, and corporate teams to resolve payment issues, improve AP processes, and provide support across Brisbane and mining site operations.

Supports the HST Superintendent in implementing, monitoring, and improving site health, safety, and training systems. Provides advice and frontline coaching, identifies and controls risks, supports incident investigations, conducts assurance activities, maintains regulatory and company compliance, and strengthens safety culture across operations.

Manage and optimise gas drainage systems supporting underground coal mining operations at Carborough Downs and Ironbark No. 1. Responsibilities include controlling gas levels within statutory requirements, managing gas drainage and underground drilling activities, coordinating contractors, analysing system performance, improving operational outcomes, and maintaining strong safety and compliance standards.
