The Training Associate is responsible for delivering structured driver training programs and ensuring that all drivers are fully prepared before dispatch. The role focuses on training delivery, driver assessment, record management, and coordination with internal departments to ensure drivers clearly understand operational procedures, safety requirements, and platform expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct training sessions for drivers on key modules, including:

    1. Uber platform usage and requirements

    2. Road safety and defensive riding/driving

    3. Financial Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

    4. Operational SOPs

  2. Ensure training content is delivered clearly and effectively to drivers of different learning abilities.

  3. Facilitate interactive training sessions to improve understanding and engagement.

  4. Ensure drivers are properly seated, organized, and attentive during training sessions.

  5. Maintain a structured and disciplined training environment.

  6. Ensure all required training materials and equipment are prepared before sessions begin.

  7. Maintain accurate records and reports of all drivers attending training sessions.

  8. Track driver attendance, assessment results, and training completion.

  9. Prepare training reports and submit them to the Training Manager.

  10. Administer driver assessments after training modules.

  11. Ensure drivers achieve a minimum pass mark of 80% before being handed over to the next session

  12. Identify drivers who require additional support or retraining and provide necessary guidance.

  13. Support drivers during bike or equipment handover day before they leave the yard.

  14. Ensure drivers clearly understand operational expectations, safety guidelines, and company policies.

  15. Conduct periodic refresher training sessions for existing drivers.

  16. Address knowledge gaps and reinforce compliance with operational and safety standards.

  17. Work closely with other departments to stay updated on all operational SOPs and policy changes.

  18. Ensure accurate and consistent information is communicated to drivers during training.



Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Training, Education, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related field.

  2. Previous experience in training, driver management, or similar operations is required

  3. Knowledge of road safety practices and transport operations is an added advantage.

  4. Strong communication and facilitation skills.

  5. Good organizational and record-keeping skills.

  6. Ability to manage groups and maintain discipline during training sessions.

  7. Good computer skills, e.g., Excel, Google Workspace, and any CRM tools.
