As a Trainee UX Designer, you will support the design and continuous improvement of P&G’s global internal platforms. Working alongside experienced UX designers, frontend developers, and cross-functional teams, you will help create scalable design system components, contribute to user-centered solutions, and explore AI-enabled ways to improve the design process. This is a great opportunity to build your UX skills while working on meaningful digital products used by teams around the world.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design, refinement, and expansion of design system components to improve consistency and scalability across internal platforms.
Help create personas, user journeys, user flows, and information architecture based on employee needs and business goals.
Assist in developing wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas clearly and effectively.
Collaborate with frontend developers to support smooth design handoff and implementation.
Contribute to keeping design and code aligned as components and platform experiences evolve.
Explore and apply AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve efficiency in the design process, with guidance from the team.
Participate in user research and usability testing, helping analyze findings and turn insights into improvements.
Work closely with UX designers, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions.
Learn and apply Agile ways of working to support iteration, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Follow accessibility standards, internal design guidelines, and UX best practices in all design work.
Job Qualifications
A portfolio showcasing your design thinking, academic work, personal projects, or internship experience is required.
Strong interest in UX/UI design, human-centered design, and digital product development.
Basic understanding of UX principles, including usability, information architecture, and user research.
Proficiency with common design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
Interest in design systems and component-based design is a strong advantage.
Strong communication skills, openness to feedback, and eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment.
Curiosity and an analytical mindset with an interest in improving user experiences through insights and data.
Interest in AI and emerging technologies as tools that can support better and faster design work.
Nice to Have :
Hands-on experience working with or contributing to design systems, including component libraries, usage guidelines, or scalable patterns.
Practical exposure to developer collaboration, including working with handoff specifications, design tokens, or implementation reviews.
Demonstrated use of AI-supported UX workflows in real projects, with the ability to explain how outputs were validated and improved.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS fundamentals and a solid understanding of responsive behavior and feasibility in digital product design.
Project, academic, or internship experience involving user research, usability testing, or accessibility-focused design work.
