Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking and skilled Trade Marketeer based in our Slough UK & Ireland (UKI) Head Office to join on a 12-month fixed term contract with a proposed start date of Monday 29th June. This purpose of the role will be to lead and support the delivery of retail marketing strategies and campaigns, in a robust commercial business unit with a wonderful brand. Core Responsibilities
Proactively & independently lead the strategic plans and initiatives within UK/I Trade Marketing for key campaigns
Management of a £2m+ budget, driving the most effective spend across campaigns, themes and, customers to achieve key marketing objectives whilst ensuring strong ROI
Set the strategic trade marketing direction and planning for a specific channel (Grocery) to achieve maximum brand and commercial impact
Coach and informally lead an Assistant Trade Marketing Manager and intern to ensure successful execution with excellence
Drive, develop and implement, then evaluate all retail media plans and executions for the channel
Bring fresh insights that identify innovations within channel

The team’s purpose is to drive sales performance through the best possible brand experience in retail, engaging and inspiring our shoppers and consumers. To do this, the role will involve pulling ‘through the line’ brand and themed campaigns, crafting impactful, engaging and conversion driving retail executions.
Do you have what it takes?
In-depth Trade Marketing experience in consumer goods focused, supplier side company
Deep understanding of omnichannel Trade Marketing that is key performance indicator aligned to overall marketing and business objectives
A demonstrable record of design and roll out of innovative Trade Marketing projects
Strong (informal) leadership and coaching methods that can drive the development of other more junior colleagues
Strong strategic, end to end thinking to translate regional strategy into engaging and impactful local priorities
A strong collaborator who builds sustainable relationships through engagement and trust across functions and hierarchies steering a wide range of partners contributing across team settings
A drive for results that champions effectiveness and data centricity, bravery to test hypothesis with a test and learn approach
Detailed analytical and budget responsibility demonstrating robust evaluation skills turning findings into commercially viable actions
Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
