AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. How you will create an impact

• Assist in Trade Credit (TC) and Trade Finance (TF) operations, supporting portfolio management and underwriting strategies.
• Contribute to implementing strategic plans and identifying growth opportunities in collaboration with brokers and distribution teams.
• Provide administrative and technical support to underwriting teams, credit officers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in marketing credit insurance and building Trade Credit accounts in focus markets.
• Monitor market trends and support the refinement of local business plans to achieve performance targets.
• Develop skills and knowledge in underwriting practices, risk assessment, and market strategies with guidance from senior team members.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Academic background in economics, actuarial sciences, accounting, or business administration.
• Experience in financial analysis, balance sheets, and broker relationship management, with commercial and sales skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to engage at C-level.
• Understanding of Trade Credit processes and documentation (preferred) and ability to work in a matrix organization.
• Proactive mindset with analytical, project management skills, and flexibility to adapt to challenges.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
