Job Description

The Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for day-to-day management of import and export shipments. Scope of work includes maintaining product classification to ensure full trade compliance and timely customs clearance, management of transportation-related import and export documentation, and staying up to date with trade regulations, tariffs, and sanctions. This role supports import and export compliance for shipments into and out of both the United States and Mexico, and works closely with internal teams, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant cross-border transactions.

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • 3+ years of customs or trade compliance experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Proficiency in HTS classification, country of origin determination, and valuation
  • Experience with USMCA and Free Trade Agreements
  • Knowledge of U.S. and Mexico customs documentation and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage import/export documentation and maintain compliance records

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Customs broker license
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
  • Experience with ACE Portal reporting and entry summary audits
  • Familiarity with Mexico customs documentation (Pedimentos) and IMMEX/maquiladora processes
  • Experience with duty drawback claims and audit preparation

Additional Information

The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

Skills Required

  • 3+ years of customs or trade compliance experience
