The Total Rewards Analyst supports the operational management of reward opportunities available to employees that align with PharmaCann’s goals, budgets and expectations. The Total Rewards Analyst is responsible for responding and resolving employee benefit issues and inquiries, working with benefit carriers and vendors in their ongoing service delivery to employees, identifying and resolving both participant and plan level issues, and identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Compensation & Benefits, the Benefits Analyst is responsible for analyzing, evaluating and administering corporate benefit plans and programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate customer support to benefit eligible employees answering their inquiries regarding
benefit options, enrollment process, and changes - Process COBRA continuation coverage elections within the COBRA vendor system
- Organize and oversee annual open enrollment meetings and ensure that all employee health and welfare
enrollment elections are processed accurately in the company and vendor systems - Provide managers absence management product related support including but not limited to Disability, FMLA,
ADA, STD, and LTD. - Review specific trends of disability absences continuous leave, intermittent leave, PTO and other absences
- Assist in the support of the annual audit of Retirement and Health plans
- Process benefit-related tasks associated with payroll processing deadlines
- Participate in the design and revision of benefit materials, communications, and training materials
- Conduct benefit orientation for all newly benefit eligible employees
- Ensure compliance with ERISA and other legal requirements including but not limited to annual updates and
communication of plan documents and summary plan descriptions - Effectively manage all required reporting and compliance related to employee notifications and submission of
5500s - Identify opportunities for process and system improvements within the Benefits administration and HRIS
functions - Additional duties as assigned by Human Resources

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources preferred
- 2 years’ experience in benefit administration
- Experience working with several internal partners in a cross functional capacity e.g., talent acquisition, payroll,
legal, employee relations, etc. - Understanding of compliance component of managing multi-state benefit programs
- Intermediate MS Excel ability
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Requires employees to be in office a minimum of three days a week, working remote up to two days per week. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 70% of the day.
