Department OverviewMotorola Solutions is seeking a strategic and results-driven DIMETRA TETRA systems Product Manager to drive the growth and value of our global portfolio. This role focuses on maximizing revenue through market and competition analysis, product positioning, competitive pricing, and go-to-market tactics while providing leadership in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The extensive Motorola Solutions DIMETRA TETRA Systems portfolio provides secure and resilient solutions that are deployed across a wide range of market segments, including government, public safety (Police, Fire, Ambulance), transportation (Transit, Metro, Rail & Airport), energy, and enterprise markets, scaling from the smallest single-site solution to nationwide networks covering entire countries.
The TETRA Systems Product Management team is part of the Global Products Organization and is responsible for the strategy, growth and commercial execution of the DIMETRA TETRA systems business.
The team is also responsible for the definition and execution of all DIMETRA TETRA system releases. You will be part of an innovative and international environment in one of the leading companies within critical communications.
Job Description
In this role, you will lead the development and lifecycle management of our DIMETRA TETRA systems product portfolio. You will prioritize the product backlog and make data-driven decisions regarding feature sets and release timelines. By collaborating with cross-functional teams—including engineering, design, sales, strategy and marketing—you will deliver solutions to a global market.
Your responsibilities include identifying customer requirements, conducting market analysis, and defining strategic roadmaps from ideation to rollout. Additionally, you will establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future strategic initiatives.
Basic Requirements
Core Product Focus: Managing and optimizing the existing product line to ensure it meets user needs, stays competitive, and drives business growth.
New Product Focus: Leading the development and launch of new products from ideation to market introduction, including defining product vision and strategy.
Discovery Planning: Conducting research and validation to inform product decisions, including user interviews, market analysis, and prototype testing.
Product Lifecycle and Operations: Overseeing the entire lifecycle of a product from inception to retirement, including release management, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Other Strategic Projects: Engaging in cross-functional initiatives that align with broader business goals, such as entering new markets, strategic partnerships, or internal innovation projects that create synergies across MSI product-lines or businesses.

Industry: Knowledge in the enterprise or public safety dispatch industry. Technical knowledge of broadband infrastructure, radio standards (P25, TETRA, DMR), or telephony products.
Basic Requirements
Bachelors Degree
4+ years of related experience (Product Management, Product Marketing, Offer Management or Sales experience)
A technical background, with a solid understanding of hardware and software development processes.
A proven track record of bringing successful enterprise or public safety technology products to market
Fluent English written and spoken
