Join us as a Testing Manager
- This key role will see you acting as both a key stakeholder and key adviser in the overall delivery of the project or programme of work

What you'll do
As a Testing Manager, you’ll be providing direction and leadership on all testing matters within the programme or project, including adoption and compliance with bank-wide change standards while also being a strong advocate in the support of improvement principles. You’ll also be managing stakeholder relationships with the business, technology and third parties, including to a senior level across multiple franchises.
You’ll be producing detailed test strategy approaches that align to our processes and making sure the output quality from all testing meets the specified requirements. You’ll also be managing a portfolio of projects or large programmes of work owning the end-to-end deliverables, including significant amounts of matrix management, as well as managing internal resources.
Additionally, you’ll be:
- Accountable for test management, scheduling, execution, and control including resource plans
- Undertaking end-to-end test management, including planning, risk, issue, dependency management, lessons learnt and governance
- Developing long term strategies and plans for the long-term viability of testing and assurance related to high importance applications and platforms
- Leading a team through the project lifecycle and setting team member objectives alongside our performance management framework and supporting capability development
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you’ll need project management skills and a detailed knowledge of full systems development lifecycle and key delivery stages. You’ll also need experience of leading an end-to-end testing capability and taking accountability for such deliveries.
On top of this, you’ll need:
- In-depth knowledge of key testing methodologies, with the ability to influence and eventually lead thought process on methodology and governance
- Experience in Murex
- Knowledge of testing standards, principles and methodologies
