Job Description

Our Operation Engineering Divison is looking for a Test Operation Engineer to join our team in Nabern, Germany!

Your main responsibilities in this position will be to:

  • Monitor daily pre-production requirements to ensure shipment dates are met on time
  • Test semiconductor devices (wafer and singulated) using probers, handlers and manual test
  • Troubleshooting equipment/process problems and able to solve independently
  • Providing feedback on maintenance issues and trends associated with failures and root causes
  • Suggest and implement cost-saving ideas
  • Guarantee quality work according to the Renesas standards and specifications
  • Ensure that the product is handled and processed according to given instructions
  • Testing and hand over the semiconductor devices within the prescribed timeframe to logistic department in accordance to the production plan.
  • Ensure quality of tested and provided products by following our internal procedures
  • Building a stable setup to achieve the maximum possible yield. The reports can be shown in the production database “GYM “

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical education
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in ATE test operating and troubleshooting for complex production test setup
  • Extended knowledge of production flows in the semiconductor or electronics related industry
  • Technical backround in semiconductor production and maintenance
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Working independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work flexible working hours
  • Teamworking skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels
  • Good oral and written command of English. German A2 is a plus.
