The Global Head of Employee Experience is a key leader on our People team and will have a critical impact across the company.  Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you’ll promote and sustain a vibrant, quirky, and inclusive company culture where employees enjoy being a part of the Formlabs community,  feel connected to each other and to our products.  You will help to enable all of our people to go above and beyond to achieve Formlabs' mission to “build the tools that make it possible for anyone to bring their ideas to life”.

You will manage a global team that creates an exceptional employee experience, from architecting and executing engaging events to supporting day-to-day office living.  You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to promote transparency, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and drive initiatives that support employee satisfaction, inclusion, and retention.

The Job:

  • Lead a team to identify, plan and execute strategies to bring our communities together and drive connection to our products
  • Develop and own company-wide events like Hackathon, affinity group fairs, customer demo days
  • Assess the best ways to give back to the community to improve access to and knowledge of 3D printing
  • Collaborate with our Talent Strategy team to understand company cultural challenges at a deep level and where we want to improve
  • Promote a commitment to inclusivity and foster a belief that we work together in an environment where all people can thrive
  • Leverage your global team to own daily logistics across our offices, like onsite lunches, new hire gatherings  and broader community events
  • Own vendor relationships + negotiations - assess the vendor marketplace, evaluate pricing, evaluate quality, maintain a budget, review data relating to our programs for more effective outcomes, evaluate SLAs
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of engagement strategies

You:

  • Are excited to take on the diverse work of managing a global team and executing on projects that bring our offices to life!
  • Can typically be onsite at our Somerville, MA office 5 days/week
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and can work effectively with a geographically distributed team in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Flex between strategic vision and flawless execution
  • Can keep our fast-paced office space pleasant, organized, and functional
  • Aren’t afraid to do some hands-on hard-core administrative work to support a team

Building the 3D tools of the future is not an easy task. To reach this ambitious goal, we need to react fast, iterate, and make changes on the fly. Our teams observe a flexible hybrid, where we all aim to be in office 3 days/week when possible.
