Essential Requirements:
- Experience of 2 to 5 years in Agile project methodology and test management (manual & automation for both UI and backend)
- Take complete ownership and lead end-to-end testing for a particular product/feature.
- Experience in deriving test strategy, test plan.
- Experience in Analyzing user stories and designing the test cases for manual and automation testing
- Experience in testing web applications.
- Understanding of Web Technologies like HTTP, REST etc.
- Well versed with Usability, Functional, System, Regression, Localization and Smoke/Sanity testing
- Knowledge of Database concepts and query languages like SQL etc.
- Good knowledge on repository services like Git, SVN, etc.
- Scripting expertise in Java, Python or any other scripting language.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated capability of analysing issues and getting to the root cause with precision and focus.
Desirable Requirements:
Experience in automation using open source tools like Selenium, cypress, Rest Assured.
Responsibilities :
1. Understand the domain and the product in detail and develop the test strategy/planning.
2. Translate requirements into test cases and test plans for testing product features.
3. Ensure the best-in-class quality for features across a broad array of products
4. Interact with product management and development teams to develop an understanding of the product and testing objectives.
5. Automation of test and enhancing existing automation tests.
