About this opportunity:
Test Development Engineer role at Ericsson is a multifaceted position encompassing a broad range of responsibilities, from requirement analysis and system design, through to product documentation and PLM support. Our developers are instrumental in the creation and maintenance of various components, systems, and solutions within our product portfolio.
Our NPI Tallinn Test Technology unit is looking for a C# Test Development Engineer to join one of our highly specialised test SW developers' team of engineers and an architect. This team is responsible for the development of robust, scalable and cost-efficient production test solutions that get rolled out and used across the globe on many different supply sites.
This is not a typical test software developer role as the testing solutions we create are for radio and baseband products at our Tallinn Test Laboratory as well as used at Ericsson own global production factories as well external sub-contractor factories.
Our ideal candidate has solid experience developing in C# and system design whilst being able to understand bigger picture to accommodate the business needs of why; and genuinely enjoys ever changing environments and change management.
This is a full-time opportunity with a 60/40 hybrid setup, combining on-site work (60%) with remote work (40%).
What you will do:
- Study product technologies and test requirements, feedback product design by focusing on product testability
- Work in close collaboration with Product Design, Test Project Managers, Embedded Software and Test Verification colleagues
- Actively contribute to test fault analysis test related problem
- Actively contribute to troubleshooting and automation of development or production test environment
- Create, update and maintain formal documentation of test solutions

The skills you bring:
- Solid work experience developing test in C# and complex system design (end-to-end)
- In-depth knowledge of SW architecture (mircoservices, gRPC) and SW design patterns
- Proven track record and ability to develop robust and scalable test methodology
- High level of English proficiency (C1)
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills to cater for a wide range of stakeholders, manage expectations and influence outcomes
- Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in SW Development or similar
- Previous experience in telecom or electronics industries and radio frequency testing/ RF hardware would be considered as a bonus
Please note, there is no relocation on offer. Therefore, local (Estonia based) applicants with current working rights in Estonia are considered as priority.
