When joining Tietoevry Create as a QA Automation Engineer
- You will develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend and frontend scenarios following Test Pyramid
- Conduct testing activities from collecting test requirements, test design, setting up test environment to regression testing and release (End-to-End testing)
- Validate functional and technical design documents, provide testing estimates
- Collaborate in an agile environment (Scrum) and communicate effectively with international teams
- Stay updated on best practices in automated testing and agile methodologies
Who we are looking for
- You have strong knowledge of Java core
- You have proficiency in SQL
- Experience in test automation for API/backend scenarios
- Experience with GIT, CI (Jenkins), Maven or equivalent
- Experience with UNIX
- Good knowledge of testing theory
- Understanding and experience working according to agile principles (Scrum)
- Knows benefits of automated testing and when it is applicable
- Practical experience with low level tests automation according to testing pyramid
As a person, we believe you
- Pro-active communication in case of questions, issues, improvement proposals etc.
- Ability to abstract complex solutions, validate functional analysis and technical design document, provide estimates
- Strong Time management skills and eager to easily switch context/be flexible
A significant advantage would be
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience with Playwright
- Familiar with Jira, Zephyr for Jira
- Experience with AI for QA
