TWL Palmerston North are on the lookout for a new Sales Representative to lead the growth of our TWL footprint in the region. What's the role about?

Reporting to the Palmerston North Branch Manager and supported by the Regional Manager you’ll be responsible for growing our footprint across the Palmerston North, Whanganui, Ohakune and Raetihi regions. Your mission is to deliver strong business results, manage sales and stock performance find new business, and maintain exceptional B2B and B2C relationships.

You'll use your commercial acumen and customer focus to ensure this region not only meets but exceeds its sales potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Market Expansion by utilizing customer and sales data to develop strategies that grow market share and boost sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Manage stock strategically ensure stock levels meet demand, avoiding shortages and maximizing sales potential.
  • Monitor sales performance and regularly report to the Branch Manager, adjusting plans and actions to hit targets.
  • Engage with customers onsite through regular visits and meetings to maintain satisfaction and uncover growth opportunities.

What We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced, resilient sales professional, ideally with a background in the heavy automotive or transport-related industries. You'll also bring:

  • Proven sales success in B2B and B2C environments, ideally within a related industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the agility to adapt to a constantly changing market.
  • Tech-savvy with a strong grasp on sales reporting and stock management.
  • A valid driver's license is essential; experience with Dangerous Goods is a bonus.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for process improvements.
