About the role .
As a Foodservice Sales Representative, you will play a key role in growing McCain's presence across the Auckland South foodservice market. You will work closely with distributors and end‑users to build strong partnerships, drive product pull‑through, and deliver commercial outcomes that support regional growth. This role suits someone who enjoys being on the road, building relationships, and bringing great food solutions to customers.
About You .
What you'll be doing.
  • Manage and grow sales across an allocated foodservice territory, working with distributors and end ‑ users
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with small to medium sized foodservice businesses
  • Drive new business opportunities while developing and retaining existing accounts
  • Conduct product presentations, cook ‑ ups, and menu solutions to support ranging and sales growth
  • Partner with distributor representatives on territory planning, joint business plans, and promotional activity
  • Launch new products in market and support distribution and uptake
  • Complete call cycle planning, customer updates, and proactive sales reporting including forecasts and opportunities
  • Contribute to team success through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and support of new team members
  • Ensure all activities align with company policies, ethical standards, and safe use of company resources
  • Travel within New Zealand as required, including occasional overnight stays

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Proven experience in a sales or similar role within the foodservice industry
  • A self ‑ motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously and manage a territory effectively
  • Strong communication and relationship ‑ building skills with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Solid organisational and time management capability
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office tools and basic sales data to report outcomes
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to contribute positively within a team environment
  • A current New Zealand driver licence
  • Flexibility to travel as required within New Zealand

You will be part of the New Zealand Foodservice Field Team, reporting to the Foodservice Field Sales Manager. The team works closely together to deliver commercial results, support customers, and share best practice across territories.
