The Role

Preferred Location: Ontario

BU – Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies:

Patients with mitral and tricuspid heart valve disease often have complex conditions with limited treatment options. Our Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) business unit is boldly pursuing an innovative portfolio of technologies to address a patient’s unmet clinical needs. Manages the relationship and business plans with a defined list of large Edwards customers, looking to grow Edwards' share of wallet. Identifies, develops and closes new sales opportunities within portfolio of own business unit.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Serves as main point of contact within own business unit for assigned customer base utilizing expert understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business
• Builds and manages strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, referrers, surgeons and other influencers in assigned region to push Edwards positioning in the market leading highly complex negotiations involving strategic influence on budgeting process in purchase departments
• Develops and closes new business opportunities with new and existing customers and identifies areas of improvement to meet sales targets while developing and leading the execution of both short- and long-term region plan, making sales projections, forecasting revenue and finding innovative ways to influence the positioning of Edwards overall within the marketplace
• Other incidental duties

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in related field,

  • 8 years’ experience of progressive sales experience Required and
    extensive medical devices industry experience Required

  • Knowledge of IC network is a significant advantage

  • Ability to travel up to 50% depending on territory needs.

  • Fluent in English, French is nice to have

• Strong network of relationships with critical decision makers in assigned accounts and in the market
• Leads highly complex negotiations involving strategic influence on budgeting process in purchase departments
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For Canada, the base pay range for this position is 92 000 $ - 133 000 $ (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
