About Living Goods:
Living Goods endeavours to improve access to essential healthcare services in underserved regions, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. We empower Community Health Workers (CHWs) with digital tools that enable them to deliver door-to-door care. CHWs use a mobile app to track pregnancies, diagnose and treat common infectious diseases like malaria and pneumonia, monitor disease outbreaks, and follow up with families. Real-time data also supports performance monitoring and impact assessment. By integrating tech-based solutions into community health systems, Living Goods fosters better health outcomes, demonstrating the power of digital health in transforming healthcare delivery in resource-constrained settings.
The Opportunity:
The Project Liaison will provide day-to-day project oversight and coordination of Digital Health systems implementation, ensuring activities remain on track, critical path dependencies are actively managed, and risks and issues are identified and addressed promptly. The role will coordinate stakeholders, monitor progress against plans and milestones, and provide timely reporting to support effective decision-making and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Critical Path Management
  • Develop and keep track of project work plans and budgets based on the scope of work
  • Identify, track, and drive resolution of blockers to Digital Health implementation work.
  • Maintain a live risk and issue log with clear ownership, escalating unresolved blockers to project leadership.
  • Coordinate across government, vendors and other stakeholders to keep the projects on track
2. Coordination & Reporting
  • Convene and facilitate regular implementation coordination meetings; track actions and decisions to closure.
  • Prepare progress reports, risk dashboards, and briefing materials for project stakeholders
  • Support planning and sequencing of implementation milestones in coordination with other project team members
3. Stakeholder & Partner Management
  • Maintain productive working relationships with government stakeholders, the vendor, and other partners.
  • Support negotiation and formalisation of data-sharing agreements and other inter-agency arrangements required for implementation.
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Public Health, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification, or equivalent.
 Work Experience:
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in project or programme management, including experience in digital health, ICT4D, or large-scale government-facing implementation programmes.
  • Demonstrated experience resolving cross-agency in a public-sector context.
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder implementation programmes involving government, vendors, and development partners.
