Temenos Data Source Developer & Application Operations Specialist (f/m/d), 80–100%
In this role, you will develop, operate and continuously improve Temenos Data Source (TDS) solutions that enable reliable, timely and high-quality data across the bank. Working closely with business, technology and operations stakeholders, you will help ensure resilient data delivery, effective application operations and sustainable solutions in a regulated banking environment.
- Configure, develop, maintain and optimise Temenos Data Source (TDS) solutions for data extraction, transformation, interfaces and reporting-related data flows.
- Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, completeness and reliability of data delivered through TDS.
- Operate and support the TDS platform in production, ensuring availability, stability, performance and compliance with security and operational standards.
- Monitor scheduled data processes, interfaces and data deliveries; investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable preventive measures.
- Design and enhance scalable data warehouses, ETL pipelines and data models to support business and regulatory requirements.
- Integrate internal systems with third-party applications and data providers, working with business analysts, product owners, end users and external vendors where required.
- Develop, test and maintain high-quality software and configurations in line with internal standards, best practices and change-management processes.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a comparable field; equivalent practical experience is also welcome.
- Several years of relevant experience in software or data development, data engineering, data integration, reporting solutions or application operations, ideally in financial services.
- Hands-on expertise with Temenos Data Source (TDS), including data models, interfaces, configurations and data extraction, transformation and reporting solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL pipelines and relational databases; proficiency in Oracle databases and SQL and/or PL/SQL is highly desirable.
- Experience with incident management, root-cause analysis and operating business-critical applications in a controlled production environment.
- A structured, solution-oriented and collaborative approach, with the ability to communicate clearly in English and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with Avaloq, market-data providers and their interfaces (for example Bloomberg, SIX or comparable vendors), as well as Java, Bash scripting, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, OpenShift or comparable container platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices and cloud-based data platforms.
