Technology at Huge is powered by a global practice of creative technologists—spanning Engineers, QA specialists, Business Analysts, Data Scientists, and ML Architects—we look beyond standard patterns to build resilient, enterprise-grade systems. We combine deep engineering rigor with innovation at the edge of agentic AI, modern data stacks, and cloud infrastructure. We don't wait for industry standards to set themselves; we engineer the intelligent systems that turn audacious strategic vision into production-ready reality.
The role.Huge is looking for a Technology Lead to drive technical architecture and hands-on engineering execution from Colombia. In this role, you will define the technical vision, architecture, and team delivery for enterprise-grade web applications. You will partner closely with client leadership, cross-functional product and design teams, and engineering pods to build high-performance modern web solutions, establish best practices, and mentor engineers serving global brands.
What you'll be doing.- Define and drive end-to-end frontend architecture using component-driven development, design systems, monorepos, and modern deployment models.
- Oversee and contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance web applications, leveraging Next.js, React, and Contentstack to deliver optimized SSR/SSG experiences.
- Integrate AI tools and methodologies into the software development lifecycle to accelerate engineering velocity, automate testing, and enhance code quality.
- Partner with design, strategy, and product leadership to translate Figma designs into accessible, pixel-perfect, and resilient enterprise applications.
- Mentor and guide engineering talent, fostering a culture of technical rigor, quality standards, continuous integration, and code quality.
- Serve as a trusted technical voice in client conversations, communicating complex architectural decisions clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
- Enforce enterprise-level security practices, robust testing strategies, and strict WCAG/ARIA accessibility compliance across all digital touchpoints.
- 7–10+ years of experience leading and developing large-scale web applications, ideally within agency or consulting environments.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js, backed by strong frontend architecture experience (micro-frontends, monorepos, design systems).
- Proven hands-on experience building scalable solutions integrated with Contentstack (or enterprise headless CMSs), with deep mastery of SSR, SSG, state management, and performance optimization.
- Proficient in REST and GraphQL API integration, modern build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment platforms.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into modern developer workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, AI-assisted code reviews, or LLM/API integration in web applications) with a practical view on driving AI fluency within engineering teams.
- Solid command of accessibility standards (WCAG/ARIA), web security best practices, and enterprise-level software design patterns.
- Demonstrated track record of mentoring engineers, driving technical decisions on client engagements, and delivering solutions for global organizations.
- Nice to have: Prior experience in the healthcare industry, ideally working with EHR platforms and interoperability standards such as Epic (FHIR, MyChart) and eClinicalWorks (eCW, Healow).
- Advanced English proficiency (C1+) with exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong business acumen and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
If the selected candidate holds a degree in Engineering or a related profession, they must present their professional license. To verify your degree requires this license, please visit www.copnia.gov.co and https://www.consejoprofesional.org.co/.
