Partner with project managers, R&D, marketing, and regulatory affairs to gather input, clarify requirements, and produce clear, accurate documentation that supports internal and external stakeholders.
Create, update, review, and release technical documentation (e.g., user manuals, instructions for use, and product data sheets) in line with established processes.
Support translation and localization activities by preparing source content, coordinating reviews, and helping ensure translated deliverables meet quality expectations.
Coordinate day-to-day documentation tasks with other team members in Technical Documentation and provide regular status updates on assigned work.
Follow corporate documentation standards, templates, and style guidelines to ensure consistency across deliverables.
Contribute to knowledge management by maintaining and improving documentation templates, reusable content, and internal guidelines.
Identify opportunities to improve documentation quality and efficiency, and share practical best practices with the team.
Apply relevant regulations, policies, and internal procedures when developing and maintaining documentation, in collaboration with regulatory and quality stakeholders.
2+ years of experience as a technical writer or technical documentation specialist (medical device experience is preferred).
Education in technical writing, technical communication, engineering, linguistics, or a related field is an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) such as Astoria or Tridion (or similar tools).
Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is a plus.
Proactive and resourceful approach to finding and validating information with SMEs.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across functions and geographies.
Experience working with global development or production sites is a plus.
Ability to work independently on assigned documentation tasks while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Structured, problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
