Responsibilities
- Prepare, edit, and coordinate technical proposals, RFQs, RFPs, SOQs, and interview presentations.
- Develop compelling proposal content that highlights the firm's qualifications and project experience.
- Coordinate with technical staff to gather project information, resumes, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain and update proposal libraries, project descriptions, and marketing materials.
- Assist with branding, website content, brochures, award submissions, and social media.
- Ensure all proposal documents are accurate, compliant, and submitted by deadline.
- Collaborate with leadership on business development initiatives and strategic pursuits.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of technical writing and proposal experience, preferably within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
- Proven experience responding to public-sector RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs.
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Adobe Creative Suite and proposal management software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with New York public agencies, municipalities, or higher education clients.
- Familiarity with construction management, engineering, or professional consulting services.
- Experience creating marketing collateral, presentations, and digital content.
