Requirements- Bachelor's degree in technical writing, communications, English, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field

- Five or more years of professional technical writing or technical documentation experience, preferably supporting software development, information technology, engineering, or government programs
- Demonstrated experience producing technical documentation for complex software or IT systems
- Experience gathering technical information from software developers, engineers, system architects, and other subject-matter experts
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to document processes across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate complex technical information clearly and accurately
- Excellent written, verbal, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and/or Visio
- Ability to manage multiple documentation assignments and competing priorities while meeting established deadlines
