Position title: Technical Writer I
Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
Clearance required: Active Secret with the potential to upgrade to TS / SCI.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Collect and organize information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
- Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.
- Associates of Arts or Science OR two-year technical school degree + minimum of 3 years relevant experience OR
- High school diploma / GED plus 10 years’ experience.
- Experience with collecting and organizing information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant graphics support experience, or military experience E4 and up.
Skills Required
- Active Secret clearance with potential to upgrade to Top Secret/SCI
- Associate of Arts or Science
- Two-year technical school degree plus minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- High school diploma or GED plus 10 years' experience
- Experience collecting and organizing information for user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports
- Minimum of 3 years relevant graphics support experience or military experience E4 and up
- Ability to work at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD (on-site)
