Performance Outcomes in the First 6-12 Months:

As a Level 3 Technical Support Engineer, you’ll gain hands-on experience with VMware by Broadcom's vSphere technology to assist customers in troubleshooting and overcoming challenges in complex environments.

  • Have 5+ years of industry experience in Virtualization domain.

  • The first step is upskilling in our support processes and products, while understanding how we operate as part of a global team.

  • You’ll then begin troubleshooting customer issues, supported by tenured engineers, leveraging the knowledge you've gained.

  • Regular collaboration with the engineering team will allow you to resolve technical and politically escalated issues.

  • As you develop your skills, you can expand your expertise into additional product lines or specialize in areas of interest within our product portfolio.

  • Over time, you’ll continue to grow through ongoing training, learning tools, and research opportunities.

  • Approaching the 12-month mark, you may have the chance to share your knowledge with newer team members, fostering collaboration and team growth.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

As a Level 3 Technical Support Engineer in the VCF Division, you’ll be responsible for resolving customer technical issues, ensuring a seamless support experience. The ideal candidate will be motivated, eager to learn, possess strong customer service skills, and embrace challenges.

In this role, you will:

  • Troubleshoot, research, and resolve issues using labs, log bundles, knowledge bases, and collaboration tools.

  • Partner with engineering, field teams, and technical experts to resolve issues, improving the customer experience.

  • Contribute to creating and updating knowledge articles for global circulation based on your troubleshooting experiences.

  • Engage with customers to provide world-class support and resolve queries efficiently.

You’ll be empowered to develop your skills in communication, technical expertise, time and queue management, and applied logic.

Schedule & Location:

This role requires flexibility to work on a Fri-Tues schedule, with possible shifts, including US hours.

The position is based out of VMware by Broadcom’s office in Bangalore, and we welcome candidates from the surrounding area.
