Owns and supports PVD equipment in an 8-inch semiconductor wafer fabrication facility. Responsibilities include equipment troubleshooting, optimization, upgrades, conversions, preventative and predictive maintenance, qualification, personnel training, and performance monitoring. The role collaborates with process engineering and R&D to develop robust equipment and processes, apply statistical validation, and execute improvement projects supporting high-volume manufacturing.

Develops and deploys Calibre verification decks for advanced FINFET, GAA, and high-voltage technologies. Defines tool acceptance criteria, creates IP test cases and test structures, automates CAD workflows, supports extraction and simulation tools, resolves EDA and technology-file issues, documents processes, trains design engineers, and evaluates emerging EDA capabilities. The role collaborates with foundries, EDA vendors, and internal engineering teams to support physical verification and post-layout extraction.

Leads CAD flow development and ESD design methodology, overseeing PERC and PathFinder flows, design automation, analysis, compliance, and internal support. Manages CAD and ESD teams, projects, tools, training, performance, and technology integration. Reviews designs for ESD compliance, conducts simulations, establishes design guidelines, ensures quality standards, and collaborates with engineering and project stakeholders.
