About your team
The Technology Business Finance team plays a crucial role in managing, analyzing, and optimizing IT financials. Our team acts as a bridge between finance, IT, and business to ensure that technology spend aligns with business strategy, delivers value and drives cost transparency. At a time when the enterprise is very focused on unit costs, there are huge opportunities for this to make a difference and drive better decision making.
About your role
The purpose of this role is to support the monthly Apptio recharge process by working closely with the Global Capability Hub and Technology Business Finance teams. You will be responsible for preparing, validating, and troubleshooting source data, resolving data integrity issues, and ensuring accurate monthly processing through the Apptio model.
In addition to month‑end responsibilities, the role requires active involvement in Apptio Planning to support budgeting and forecasting activities across Technology.
About you
You have hands‑on experience working with Apptio, with strong analytical skills and the ability to support both operational month‑end activities and financial planning cycles.
- Hands‑on experience running Apptio month‑end cycles, including data validation, troubleshooting, and producing monthly outputs.
- Experience working with Apptio Planning, including supporting budgeting, forecasting, or scenario‑planning processes.
- Ability to build and maintain dashboards and reports using Apptio and Power BI.
- Strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation capabilities.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret IT financial data and highlight key insights.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI to develop clear, meaningful reporting.
- Awareness of IT cost management principles and the importance of accurate, timely financial information.
- An RTBMA R12 qualification is desirable.
