Role Overview:
The role supports the group-wide DORA implementation program across 99 insurance legal entities, ensuring consistent and timely closure of identified DORA gaps. Acting as a key technical advisor, you will guide local entities on IT and IT security topics, assess existing and proposed solutions, and contribute to centrally funded initiatives. You will work closely with affiliates, group functions, and second line of defence to map solutions to DORA requirements, verify evidence, and support regulatory readiness through structured documentation, workshops, and expert input.
We are looking for an experienced DORA Technical Subject Matter Expert with insurance-sector exposure, who combines deep regulatory knowledge with hands-on IT and IT security expertise. The ideal candidate understands both local entity security landscapes and centralized group solutions, and can pragmatically support large-scale DORA implementation across multiple legal entities. You are delivery-focused, comfortable working with senior stakeholders, and able to translate DORA requirements into actionable, technically sound solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Advising LEs about IT/IT-Sec topics
- Responding to questions related to the technical topics addressed by LEs
- Attending the Solution Panel sessions and proposing solutions that can be used by centrally-funded projects to close the DORA gaps (based on current LEs’ IT/IT-Sec landscape)
- Local solutions analysis/proposal for gaps closure per Affiliate
- Remote/onsite workshops & meetings with Affiliates
- Supporting gaps identification per Affiliate (based on the Questionnaire)
- Assessment of the already existing solutions in LEs to confirm whether they can be used to close the DORA gaps
- Group Solutions mapping to DORA requirements
- Initial evidence verification, incl. alignment with 2nd LOD and 2nd Opinion
- Supporting DORA Portfolio projects with expertise knowledge, verification of scope and progress
- Preparing documentation
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of DORA requirements (incl. DORA deliverables and controls prepared by IRM)
- Understanding LEs’ local security landscape
- Understanding of central solutions/ technology (MR & ITERGO)
- Strong focus on achieving the goals of the DORA Program
- Good communication skills, fluency in Polish and English
- Delivering tasks within agreed deadlines
