ROLE OVERVIEW
Join a leading cards transformation programme delivering real impact across Poland’s banking sector.
We are looking for an experienced Business/System Analyst to support a major cards transformation project for a leading Polish bank. You will work across complex system landscapes, supporting integrations, transaction flows, and end-to-end card processing. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business, and compliance, requiring strong analytical capability and collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
Fluency in Polish is mandatory.
What You’ll Do
- Analyse and classify AS-IS system interfaces and support definition of target architectures
- Produce detailed data mappings and integration documentation (ISO8583, batch, REST, MQ)
- Model authorization, clearing, and settlement flows across issuing and acquiring processes
- Facilitate workshops with business, IT, and compliance stakeholders to define requirements and target processes
- Support testing, certification, and migration activities including SIT/UAT scenario design and runbook preparation
What We’re Looking For
- Experience delivering business or system analysis within cards transformation programmes (e.g. SWITCH, handlers, platforms)
- Strong understanding of card issuing and acquiring processes, including back-office operations
- Proven ability to work across IT, business, and regulatory/compliance stakeholders
- Experience supporting migrations and certifications with payment schemes
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation and specifications
Bonus Points For
- Hands-on experience with ISO8583 messaging and payment transaction lifecycles
- Experience working with multiple system integrations in large-scale environments
- Familiarity with payment scheme rules and certification processes
- Exposure to agile delivery environments and iterative transformation programmes
- Experience designing or supporting end-to-end testing strategies
IMPORTANT
- Fluent Polish (spoken and written) – mandatory
- Good command of English for documentation and collaboration.
- Availability to work on-site, with partial remote work - 3 days per week from the office.
