POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strong client relationships across the Mumbai and Pune regions.
The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, strengthening key accounts, and delivering sustainable growth within the Protective & Marine / Industrial coatings segment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Business Development & Sales Growth
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across target industries such as Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Power, and Manufacturing.
Drive revenue growth by expanding the customer base and increasing market share.
Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with overall business goals.
Customer & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and specifiers.
- Manage key accounts and ensure long-term customer retention and satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, resolving technical and commercial queries.
Market & Product Expertise
- Leverage strong industry knowledge in segments such as:
- Protective Coatings
- Passive Fire Protection (PFP)
- High Performance Coatings
- Stay updated on market trends, competition, and customer requirements.
- Support product approvals and specifications with key stakeholders.
Technical & Commercial Support
- Provide technical guidance and product recommendations to customers.
- Deliver presentations, product demos, and application guidance.
- Collaborate with internal teams for project execution and solution delivery.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and territory planning.
- Identify strategic partnerships and channel opportunities.
Aware of product approval process at consultants, architects, engineers and specifiers from Oil & Gas, High Value Infrastructure, Power, M&R, etc.
Sound technical knowledge should be able handle customer queries.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-8 years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in:
- Industrial coatings
- Protective & Marine segment
- Construction chemicals or related sectors
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and winning large projects.

- Mumbai/ Pune, Maharashtra, India.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in:
- Chemistry / Paint Technology / Engineering / Business Administration MBA (Sales/Marketing) is an added advantage
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Strong business development and consultative selling skills
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management
Technical understanding of coatings or industrial products
Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
