Job Title:Technical Sales Engineer - FNC

Summary:Responsible for hunting new opportunities, providing pre- & post-sales technical support and spec in new product solution to drive business growth at Functional Coating (“FNC”) market in Greater China.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Identify new business opportunities to drive growth for the business. Including new opportunities and acquiring new customers/application, presenting new technologies and participating in new product launches and troubleshooting etc.
  • Closely work with customers to understand their application, manufacturing processes, test conditions and unmet needs. 
  • Co-work with R&D team to translate unmet customer needs into NPIs, and ensure successful NIP product launches.
  • Contact customers’ material/engineering team for specification qualifications and serve as the liaison between ADE and customers to coordinate testing in MPM lab and customer site.
  • Create new product development program working with global and regional Marketing team aligned with market technology trend. Share best practices to global team.
  • Extensive travel to customers and distributors will be required.

Support marketing in organizing promotions (eg. technical seminars, tradeshows) and other daily work.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, majoring in polymer, material science or other chemical related subjects. 
  • 1-3 years of experience product development/application or technical service role in the coating, adhesive or other surface treatment or film industry.
  • Excellent communication skills to clarify the VOC from customers.
  • Motivated to learn new knowledge and report new findings from the market and customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment with strong customer focus.
  • Problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in technical sales
  • Familiar with PVD, CVD, micro-spraying or any precision fine spray process.
  • Fluency English skill in both speaking and writing.
