Primary Responsiblities
- Drive full-cycle recruitment for assigned technical roles within the organization.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and deeply understand their business needs and objectives to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified technical candidates.
- Proactively identify and attract passive candidates for technical roles using all tools and resources available, including social media, networking, and creating accurate and effective external job advertisements.
- Conduct detailed interviews with candidates, documenting questions and answers to assess competencies, skills, qualifications and suitability properly
- Ensure proactive communication with the hiring manager and Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager on status of open role(s).
- Conduct intake sessions with Hiring Managers before commencing searches to validate business and resourcing needs as well as ensuring the identification of qualified candidates.
- Proactively identify challenges and/or roadblocks in generating strong pipeline(s) and/or closing open positions.
- Present pre-screened candidates with a profile summary to hiring managers highlighting qualification and culture compatibility with a recommendation.
- Work collaboratively with the talent acquisition manager and hiring managers to assess current and future hiring needs.
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge of labour market trends in North America.
- Actively participate in special HR projects and expand knowledge and skillset.
- Comply with the privacy, security and confidentiality policies.
Prerequisites
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical talent acquisition experience within a rapid-growth environment.
- Excellent interviewing skills, with the ability to probe the candidate’s technical knowledge effectively.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple and often coinciding needs and responsibilities.
- Strong customer service and verbal and written communication skills to build trusted relationships across the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to identify candidates for highly technical and complex roles.
- Experience recruiting technical talent in the US and Canada.
- Ability to quickly adapt to change according to business needs.
