Your Next Opportunity:
Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to play a critical role in the delivery of our new, innovative AI platform - RISE. As the Technical Scrum Master / Program Manager, you are the primary custodian of team productivity and delivery health. You are not just a meeting facilitator, but a "flow master" responsible for optimizing the end-to-end value stream—from product discovery to production release. You will bridge the gap between strategic product vision and technical execution, ensuring high-energy squads remain focused, unblocked, and aligned with mission-critical goals.
What You’ll Do
- Flow Optimization & Mastery: Act as the "bulldozer" for the team, identifying and aggressively removing technical and organizational impediments that hinder velocity.
- Agile Facilitation: Lead high-energy Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) and refine Kanban/Scrum processes to maintain a constant, sustainable work pace.
- Technical Delivery Oversight: Use your technical background to engage in architecture discussions and issue triage, addressing first-level blockers before they reach engineering management.
- Stakeholder & Product Alignment: Partner with Product Owners to manage and groom backlogs, ensuring technical debt and architectural initiatives are balanced with feature delivery.
- Metric-Driven Improvement: Track and analyze flow metrics (Cycle Time, Lead Time, Velocity, and Throughput) to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
- Shielding & Focus: Protect the team from external disruptions and "scope creep" by acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during active sprints.
- Communicate program status, risks, and decisions clearly to leadership
- Create and maintain program reports, dashboards, and executive-ready views of delivery health
Required Skills
- Agile Expert: Mastery of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles, with experience applying them in "high-intensity" product environments.
- Program Management: Proven ability to manage dependencies across multiple cross-functional teams and maintain a high-level roadmap while managing tactical sprint tasks.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to "speak the same language" as developers—understanding CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and modern web architectures (e.g., ROR/React).
- Tools Mastery: Power user of Jira and Confluence, capable of building advanced dashboards and automation workflows to visualize team health.
