The Corporate Technology Programs & Portfolio Management Office is responsible for managing the programs and projects that enable leveraging the best technology and solutions available on the market for all Veeam business departments, ensuring businesses perform at the top of their efficiency to fuel Veeam growth.

As a CT Technical Program Manager, M&A, you will lead strategic cross-functional projects that drive technology integrations, environment consolidations, and process automations in support of mergers and acquisitions. This role ensures seamless technical alignment between acquired entities and Veeam’s business operations, enabling rapid value realization and minimal business disruption throughout the M&A lifecycle.

The team is looking for someone based on the east coast or who is willing to work Eastern hours to align with the team.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead technical discovery with acquiring and acquired company stakeholders to uncover integration and migration needs, analyze technical infrastructure, systems, and data flows, and identify integration points and redundancies.
  • Facilitate application rationalization, identifying platforms to consolidate, retire, or migrate post-merger.
  • Perform business analysis activities including requirements gathering, business process mapping, gap analysis, and translation of business needs into functional and technical requirements.
  • Design process and data migration strategies and manage migration and merger project execution.
  • Create detailed runbooks, technical documentation, project schedules, work breakdown structures, and ongoing program status reporting.
  • Work with business leadership to define and communicate program objectives, plans, project scope, and impacted workstreams.
  • Identify stakeholders, secure necessary resources, and facilitate stakeholder communication throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Communicate decisions, priorities, and relevant program information to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Coordinate functional technical teams to achieve program objectives, resolve blockers, and maintain focus on value delivery.
  • Ensure successful program delivery through effective change management, documentation, KPI measurement, and achievement of predefined goals.

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required, preference for technical fields.
  • Experience in IT and business applications program management within a technology company.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of technology environments, systems architecture, software design principles, and system interactions.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams, software deployment and integration, and familiarity with testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret relational data, technical business requirements, and create process flow diagrams.
  • Business analysis skills including requirements elicitation, process analysis, gap analysis, data analysis, and translation of business needs into actionable solution requirements.
  • Understanding of business processes across sales, marketing, quote-to-cash lifecycle, finance, and other business functions.
  • Experience proactively identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work successfully across culturally diverse teams and remain focused on high-level business goals.

Compensation Transparency

Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.
