Technical Product Owner | About You
As a Technical Product Owner, you are responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of complex technology products. You combine deep technical expertise with business acumen to deliver scalable, cloud-ready solutions that meet strategic objectives. You excel at translating business needs into actionable technical requirements, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery. Experience with AI/ML technologies and emerging innovations enables you to incorporate advanced capabilities into products when appropriate. Your ability to lead solutioning efforts, champion Agile practices, and partner closely with developers makes you a trusted leader for both technical and business stakeholders.
Technical Product Owner | Day-to-Day
- Define and communicate clear product vision and roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and prioritized backlog items.
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and data scientists to design and implement scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions.
- Drive technical solutioning for complex projects, ensuring alignment with best practices, compliance standards, and performance goals.
- Lead Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, retrospectives) and champion continuous improvement across teams.
- Engage stakeholders regularly to provide updates, manage expectations, and incorporate feedback into product development.
- Incorporate AI/ML capabilities into product initiatives when appropriate, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance functionality.
- Monitor product performance, KPIs, and adoption of metrics to inform future enhancements and strategic decisions.
Technical Product Owner | Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in technology-driven roles, with at least 5 years dedicated to Technical Product Ownership.
- Strong technical foundation in software development lifecycle, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies, with experience integrating AI-driven insights into enterprise solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and reporting tools such as Power BI preferred.
- Skilled in Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
- Proven ability to lead solutioning efforts, manage multiple projects, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in highly regulated industries (Healthcare, Pharma, Finance) is a plus.
