Senior Technical Product Owner

The Senior Technical Product Owner (AI/ML) will play a critical role in driving the design, development, and deployment of AI and Machine Learning solutions that transform Service and Support functions across the organization.

This individual will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product managers, and the technical AI/ML team, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution. The role requires a strong mix of product ownership, AI/ML understanding, and hands-on technical problem-solving, including building prototypes (POCs) and validating AI solutions using low-code / no-code platforms and traditional AI tools

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

Vision, Strategy and Roadmap:

-- Define and communicate the solution vision and strategy for data and AI/ML. Partner with business leaders, Data Scientists, service organizations, and product managers to identify, define, and prioritize AI/ML opportunities in Service and Support.

-- Translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable AI/ML problem statements and success metrics. Ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and value realization of proposed AI solutions.

Development and Proof of Concept:

-- Work with data scientists and engineers to develop PoCs. Also prioritize features and enhancements when PoCs are to be productized.

-- Create and maintain a product/solution backlog, ensuring that it is well-organized and aligned with the roadmap.Define clear user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.

Stakeholder Management:

-- Act as the primary point of contact for all solution-related inquiries and communication. Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and provide updates on the progress.

Technical ownership, Delivery and Performance:

-- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, from concept to release. Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and MLOps Engineers to guide technical solution development and integration

-- Monitor solution performance and gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement. Oversee UAT, testing, and performance validation of deployed AI/ML solutions

Collaboration and Leadership:

-- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the development team. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.

• 12+ years of professional experience with at least 8+ years in product ownership or AI/ML project leadership.

• Proven experience working with AI/ML solutions, analytics products, or data-driven platforms including data preparation, model training, deployment, and monitoring. Strong understanding of data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., ADO, JIRA, Trello).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in Service and Support operations, IoT, or diagnostic instrument data.

• Experience building and deploying equipment failure prediction models at scale. Exposure to NLP and GenAI applications.

• Knowledge of data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker). Experience with Python, SQL, or AI workflow orchestration

• Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies.
