Job Description- Own and drive the product roadmap for the Variosystems Intelligence (VI) Platform as an internal and customer-facing service platform.
- Translate internal process needs and customer requirements into clear product features, priorities, acceptance criteria, project plans, and delivery timelines.
- Manage platform-related projects, including scope alignment, stakeholder coordination, milestone tracking, risk management, and rollout planning.
- Shape AI-automated services across material cost calculation, quotation, lifecycle, compliance, alternative part search, and future engineering services.
- Work closely with engineering, sourcing, customer success, business development, IT, and external users to continuously improve the platform.
- Provide functional support for internal teams and customers, including user guidance, issue clarification, training input, and adoption support.
- Understand and challenge requirements from electronics design, PCB layout, mechanical engineering, supply chain, and component market perspectives.
- Track platform performance, roadmap progress, user adoption, service quality, and customer feedback.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, or in a comparable technical platform role.
- Solid understanding of engineering workflows in electronics development, PCB layout, and mechanical design.
- Practical knowledge of supply chain mechanisms, supplier data, component availability, lifecycle risks, and the electronic components market.
- Experience translating business, customer, and technical requirements into product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Project management experience, including planning, coordination, milestone tracking, stakeholder management, and risk follow-up.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with engineers, business stakeholders, and customers.
- Structured, hands-on working style with strong ownership for roadmap, delivery, support, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-enabled platforms, automation of engineering or quotation processes, or data-driven service platforms.
- Experience with lifecycle management, compliance checks, BOM analysis, obsolescence management, or alternative component evaluation.
- Knowledge of ERP, PLM, CRM, quotation, or customer portal solutions, ideally in an electronics manufacturing or engineering services environment.
- Experience supporting external customers in the adoption of digital services or self-service platforms.
- Agile/ Scrum certification or practical experience working with agile development teams.
