Technical Owner – ITSM Platform (Halo)

Do you want to take end-to-end technical ownership of a business-critical platform and shape how IT Service Management works across Schibsted?

We are looking for a Technical Owner for our ITSM platform, Halo . In this role, you will combine platform ownership, solution architecture and hands-on technical expertise. You will be responsible for the technical direction of Halo, its integrations and automation, while ensuring that the platform remains secure, compliant, reliable and fit for the needs of our users.

This is a role for someone who enjoys moving between strategy and implementation: defining what needs to change, deciding how it should be implemented, and working hands-on when needed to make it happen.

• Platform ownership & roadmap – Own the technical strategy, roadmap, prioritisation and governance for Halo, including vendor relationships, KPIs and SLAs (towards external supplier, 2nd and 3rd line support).

• Architecture & technical design – Translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions.

• Platform configuration & development – Configure and continuously improve Halo, including workflows, automation, scripting, dashboards, reporting, platform customisation and runbooks.

• Integrations & APIs – Reviews and maintains integration designs and changes, maintains visibility of integration dependencies, governs API access, authentication and permissions.

• Operations & lifecycle management – Own upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, data migrations, licence management (for development, test & production environments) and support, including major incidents and technical escalations for Halo, API and 3rd party connections.

• Security & compliance – Ensure appropriate access management, audit logging, data retention and other platform controls, with accountability for the platform's security and compliance.

You have experience owning and managing enterprise SaaS platforms and are comfortable combining technical ownership, strategic roadmap, architecture and hands-on implementation.

You are comfortable moving between strategic and hands-on work. One day you might discuss roadmap priorities or solution architecture; the next you might improve a workflow or troubleshoot an operational issue.

You enjoy taking end-to-end responsibility, collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders, and turning requirements into solutions that are simple, secure and maintainable.

We would particularly value experience with:

• ITSM platforms; experience with Halo ITSM is highly desirable.

• ITSM processes and practices, ideally including ITIL.

• SaaS platform ownership and administration.

• REST APIs and enterprise system integrations.

• Workflow design, automation and scripting.

• Solution architecture and technical design.

• Incident, problem and change management.

You enjoy taking ownership and are comfortable making technical decisions within your area of responsibility. At the same time, you recognise that successful platform ownership requires strong collaboration.

You can translate between business and technology: understanding what stakeholders are trying to achieve and turning those needs into solutions that are practical, secure and maintainable.

You are structured and pragmatic. You know when to use standard platform functionality, when automation can simplify a process, and when an integration or custom solution is justified.

Most importantly, you bring an end-to-end perspective. You don't see strategy, architecture, implementation and operations as separate responsibilities - you make sure they work together throughout the platform lifecycle.
