Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Technical Lead to architect and lead the delivery of solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud. This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience with Data Cloud, and a strong foundation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP).
You will be responsible for designing scalable data architectures, managing ingestion and activation workflows, and integrating Data Cloud with other MarTech platforms to enable unified customer profiles and personalized experiences. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, analytics, and engineering

Must have skills

1. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, unification, and activation
2. Strong understanding of identity resolution, consent management, and customer profile stitching
3. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, especially MCP, Journey Builder, and Interaction Studio
4. Proficiency in API integrations (REST, SOAP) and data connectors
5. Strong skills in SQL, Python, or JavaScript for data manipulation and automation
6. Experience integrating Data Cloud with MarTech platforms (e.g., ESPs, CRMs, analytics tools)
7. Familiarity with data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and performance optimization

Good to have skills

1. Experience with Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud, or Commerce Cloud
2. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies
3. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization
4. Client-facing experience and ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders
5. Familiarity with audience segmentation, journey orchestration, and personalization strategies

Key responsibilities

1. Lead the technical design and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions
2. Architect data models and ingestion pipelines for unified customer profiles
3. Integrate Data Cloud with MCP and other MarTech platforms for activation and personalization
4. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
5. Guide development teams in building reusable components and automation scripts
6. Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and privacy compliance
7. Troubleshoot complex data and integration issues across platforms
8. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and best practices
9. Support audience creation, segmentation, and journey orchestration workflows
10. Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to roadmap planning for Data Cloud adoption

Education Qualification

Bachelors in Engineering with a specialisation in Computer Science, Data , IT
Graduate from other fields with good communication and analytical skills

Marketing Cloud Personalization Accredited Professional
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
