About this Opportunity

We are a R&D unit in Ericsson, building world class cloud-native based AI/ML big-data analytics software for telecom operators. We are looking for a dedicated, competent, dynamic and proactive individual having end to end cloud native product development experience in Python and ML.
What you will do
• Backend Development: Architect and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using Python, ensuring performant and efficient systems.• Team Leadership: Lead a team of highly motivated developers, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior members, and fostering a culture of excellence.• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to deliver cohesive solutions.• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices, integrating them into the development process to enhance efficiency and quality.
What you will bring
• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.• 8-12 years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Python.• Proficiency in Python & Django/Rest API/FLASK/FAST API.• Experience with Micro Servies architecture.• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming (Python).• Experience with Data Scrubbing and ML Libraries - Pandas, NumPy.• Kubernetes and cloud computing - AWS/Azure/GCP.• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker) and automated testing.• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).• Experience with Databases - MySQL, NoSQL.• Exposure to security best practices in system design and implementation.• Knowledge about end-to-end tests using Robot framework and wire-mock.• Write unit tests first before implementing features to ensure the functionality is well-defined and testable.• Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Contributing to system design and architecture.
