Sysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer.

The Opportunity

​​The Technical Lead - Identity Lifecycle Management is a senior technical contributor within the IAM Lifecycle team. This role focuses on advanced development, integration, and customization within the SailPoint IdentityIQ environment hosted on AWS. The Technical Lead will lead development tasks, perform complex troubleshooting, and mentor junior developers while also ensuring QA and support processes are followed.​ ​This is an individual contributor role.

​​Collaborating closely with global IAM lifecycle teams. This is a hybrid remote and office-based role in Sri Lanka, aligning with the local job requirement guidelines (Primary shift: [7:30 PM-3:30 AM SLST, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM CDT] with flexibility). Most work is performed Monday through Friday virtually using collaboration tools and video conferencing. Our team has occasional on-call support. ​  ​

Holiday Coverage: Candidates are required to work on Sri Lankan (LK) Public Holidays upon request, which will be fully applicable for lieu leave entitlement.

Responsibilities:

  • ​​Custom Development & Integrations: Building, customizing, and optimizing SailPoint IIQ workflows and API integrations with platforms such as Workday, Azure AD, and Salesforce
  • ​​Technical Leadership: Mentoring junior developers, conducting peer code reviews, and enforcing development best practices
  • ​​QA & Testing: Defining and executing QA testing frameworks for lifecycle changes and new integrations
  • ​​Support & Troubleshooting: Investigating and resolving escalated issues from the team’s queue
  • ​​Documentation: Maintaining technical documentation for integrations, customizations, and processes
  • 50:50 balance between Support Engineering tasks and Software Development tasks.

Requirements:

  • ​A ​Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent practical experience​
  • Java Knowledge: Strong foundational programming skills in Core Java to work comfortably with the system codebase.
  • AWS Understanding: Practical knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments, specifically utilizing AWS services (e.g., EC2 management, hosting architectures).
  • ​​An advanced degree or IAM-related certifications is Preferred
  • ​​5–7 years of IAM development experience, with at least 3 years in SailPoint IdentityIQ is Preferred
  • ​Strong background in Java, Beanshell, REST/SOAP APIs, and AWS-hosted solutions
  • ​Previous experience troubleshooting complex integration issues
  • ​​ Core Competency: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills are a must.
  • Ability to collect system data, analyze process gaps, and implement effective solutions to remove technical blockers across multiple layers.
  • ​Experience leading QA testing processes
  • ​Must possess the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and business teams
